Errata is an exhibition hosted at Mast Books, celebrating an assemblage of works that question the physical condition of both books and design objects. It will bring together new work from various Spanish designers, ranging in material and typology.

“Magazine Rack”  confronts the eternal and misleading fetish, we, designers and artists, have towards books and magazines. As if they were bought for lust-sight pleasures, some books find eternal joy away from our greasy hands, squeezing under thin layers of dust, not serving other purpose than the mere ownership, possession, and desire.
A subtel and classy structural frame is finished with a mix of textures and materials, ranging all sort of sexual toys. For the frame has been carefully ensambled by one of the best brass welders in Madrid, the rest of the materials were bought at different sex shops, and plumbing stores. The magazine rack oscilates, and waves in-betweed the duality within all of use, through geometry, meterials, and equilibrium.

After a sharp turn of the head, your gaze stops on a sober black string, full of tension and lightness, hardly levitating from a ring in the ceiling.
And it descends slowly until it meets a glittering intersection that swifts from nickel to black latex.
Tilting on a haughty and perfect circumference, two wings open, two bodies. For an instant, there is no difference between elegance and obscenity. You completely unveil your animal desire, gross and delicate, that fetishism for the simple possession of a magazine. After a second, after a blink, your eyes refocus on the magazine rack that it static in the corner, ath the end of the room.
